Reading Day On October 3, 2008[Academics] [Application Forms] [Athletics Day] [Contact] [Curriculum] [Faculty] [Featured Student] [News] [Photo Gallery] [Reading Day] [Staff Application] [Swimming] [Teachers Needed] [Vision]  Bess Chinchen (Mrs. Pyman's Kindergarten) from Five Little Ladybugs. Reading Day was first initiated by Dan Linsz and his wife Corrie. Dan was the first Headmaster at the ABC Christian Academy in 1998. Reading Day has become a tradition where an entire day is dedicated to emphasizing reading to our children. The students come dressed as their favorite book character and bring that book to school to share with their class. Special guests are invited to come and read to the children or tell a story. Older children are encouraged to visit classrooms and read to the younger kids. Children are encouraged to read more and get excited about books and learning.
