Clinic 2. Pediatrician (2) – board eligible/board certified required. Will oversee the pediatric services at the clinic. These include routine outpatient clinic, under 5 wellness clinic, malnutrition clinic, and outpatient pediatric HIV services. Inpatient duties include the crisis nursery "sick child" clinic that cares for pre-mature, newborn, HIV +, and sick infants. In September 2007, the construction of a 40 bed pediatric ward will begin. 3. Family Practice Physician – board eligible/board certified required. Will attend patients in the outpatient clinic as well as provide inpatient services in the ward. Will provide care for the HIV patients who attend our ARV clinic. Will be involved in community outreach through education seminars, mobile clinics, among others. Will oversee the clinical officers who work in the non-private clinic. 4. Obstetrician/Gynecologist – board eligible/board certified required. Will participate in the starting of the obstetrics service here at ABC Community Clinic. Will oversee the OB clinical officers and nurse midwives. Will conduct ante-natal clinics in the outpatient department. Will act as a consultant for the care of HIV infected pregnant women. Will participate in community outreach/education regarding maternal/fetal wellness. 5. Director of Nursing – Registered Nurse with unrestricted active license required. Responsible for the oversight of the nursing staff at the clinic. Will coordinate continuing education, performance improvement, and clinical practice guidelines. Will oversee both inpatient and outpatient nursing services. Experience in surgical services or obstetrics is recommended. 6. Biomedical technician – responsible for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment at the clinic. Responsible for ordering supplies and new equipment as needed. Working knowledge of electronics and small machines is necessary. The ability to improvise is essential! 7. Public relations/community liaison – responsible for promoting
